Community Helper Field Trip Part 1

Fun field trip day with the kindergarteners! First stop: Joe and Mimma's pizza to learn how it's made from beginning to end...yum!

After the pizza we walked to the post office; the kids had already written letters so the all got stamps and mailed them to learn a bit about how the post office works (should be getting that letter soon!)

Stella and I then followed the bus to the Fire Department for an awesome tour there!

Finally got Stella's pictures from her one-year photo shoot...love them! It's a trend now to do a one year "cake smash" picture...fun, cute, but oh so messy!!!

Stella Stats

After three cancelled appointments due to weather, we finally got Stella in for her 12 month check up! at 29.5 inches and 20 lbs, 10 oz, she's one healthy baby girl. And, as much as I hate the shots, she now has the measles vaccine which (with the recent outbreaks) makes me feel SO much better! Our doctor gave us this cool graph, first time I've seen something like this, so I thought I'd share:

Even though the roads were a little icy, we took the chance a few times to meet with friends to go sledding at the boys' school...apparently lots of others had the same idea and it was tons of fun!
