First Boat of 2020

Perfect boat day! The kids were planning to spend this day with Grammy and Papa at Disney as this week is their Spring Break, so we took advantage of the change of plans and spent the day relaxing on the water. Definitely making lemonade out of lemons!

SPACE CAMP

SUCH an amazing class trip for Carter and the 5th Grade Young Astronauts Club! Scott volunteered to chaperone, and they both had an amazing time learning all about space in Huntsville, Alabama.

PINK FLAG 2020

Amazing weekend with the ladies of the 58th Fighter Squadron for our annual Pink Flag (a play on the Exercise Red Flag that the pilots go to so often). Great food, amazing house with a view to die for, pilates in the sand, lots of eating, relaxing and getting to know the girls. I even snuck away for an hour for a massage in tow

Putz' Puppy For the Weekend

Stella was super excited to get to take her class mascot home for the weekend! He went everywhere with her, and I took pictures along the way to document. He went to gymnastics, played outside, learned to play the piano, went to church, did some art, snuggled in bed and practiced his dance moves. It was so cute to see how much he looks like Rocky.

BLUE SQUAD

So proud of Stella being promoted up to Blue Squad (intermediate) gymnastics. This is for K-2nd graders who have shown a higher level of skill. This class is our new Saturday morning norm as we try to balance kindergarten and extracurricular activities. This class is offered weekday evenings, but it is really nice to have that special time on Saturday mornings with her and not feel too overwhelmed with life. Of course, she needs to make a decision...they want her back on the Rising Stars team--pre-competitive team--which meets only on Wednesdays at 4pm. If she is really ready to commit, we will find a way!
