After the pizza we walked to the post office; the kids had already written letters so the all got stamps and mailed them to learn a bit about how the post office works (should be getting that letter soon!)

***PS it was also "wacky tacky day" at school so Carter is intentionally wearing mismatched shoes!

Finally got Stella's pictures from her one-year photo shoot...love them! It's a trend now to do a one year "cake smash" picture...fun, cute, but oh so messy!!!

Stella Stats

After three cancelled appointments due to weather, we finally got Stella in for her 12 month check up! at 29.5 inches and 20 lbs, 10 oz, she's one healthy baby girl. And, as much as I hate the shots, she now has the measles vaccine which (with the recent outbreaks) makes me feel SO much better! Our doctor gave us this cool graph, first time I've seen something like this, so I thought I'd share:

Even though the roads were a little icy, we took the chance a few times to meet with friends to go sledding at the boys' school...apparently lots of others had the same idea and it was tons of fun!

Diaper Dash

So silly and so much fun, Stella rocked the "diaper dash" on the Disney cruise ship! She won the first "heat," but came in second overall--there were a LOT of people making a lot of noise and that was overwhelming, but the whole thing was hilarious! They announced each baby by their name, weight, and where they were from...babies were confused but us adults laughed and laughed watching our babies compete :)

Castaway Cay, Bahamas

Beautiful day for the beach in January! That's because our stop on our Disney cruise ship was in the Bahamas and it was a nice and relaxing day :)

The Kids Club on the Disney cruise ship was amazing...lots of exciting activities and lots of cousin time!

Visitors from Indiana

My Mom and Step-Dad came out to Williamsburg for the past week for some relaxation, late Christmas, and grandkid time :) The boys were back to school, but we spent every afternoon/evening with them, and my Mom taught me how to use my new pressure cooker, I have to say we had a lot of fun and ate some fantastic meals! Not a lot of pictures, but here's Grandma reading to Stella:
