Trying to spend as much time as I can at the gym lately...which means Braden and Carter are too! Here they are w/ two of their favorite caregivers, Ms. Mary and Ms. Crystal...love them!

Carter's VERY OWN Playgroup

Of course Carter gets to do a lot of things with Braden, but when a brand new playgroup opened up at Summit Street Elementary, we most definitely wanted to join! Even though Braden is at Christy's on Wed (which makes Wednesday my errand day), this is going to be a great way to spend special "Carter time!"

Stinky Time

Daddy promised Braden a "Stinky the Garbage truck" when he was successfully potty trained...kind of appropriate, in a way!...so he got it!
Too busy to talk to me, but he does love this silly thing!

Grocery Shopping Paradise

Some may disagree, but I do NOT think grocery shopping is fun with two little ones...in fact, I usually avoid it at all costs! But, today we went to the Price Chopper in Shelburne, although 20 mins away, it was definitely worth it! They have a supervised playroom that you can leave kids in...potty trained kids only...while you shop!


Yet another benefit to potty training! Braden loved it, and Carter and I spent at least an hour leisurely shopping, a dreaded chore made fun!

Winter Wonderland

SO much snow lately, Wednesday all the schools were closed (as was the mall and many of the stores) so it was a stay at home day for us. Luckily, the storm broke just long enough for Braden to play...

Kids Carnival

Fun afternoon at the Kids Carnival at the mall today...I was afraid it would be geared towards bigger kids, but these games were perfect for Braden's age!

Potty Time

I've been wanting to get Braden potty trained for MONTHS...but he was fighting me for so long, and the doctor said to take a long break and maybe he was responding negatively to the pressure I was putting on him (he has to be potty trained to start preschool). But now we're home and spending a lot of time indoors with the freezing weather, so a few weeks ago I suggested "big boy undies" again, and this time it was a go! Every day we have many successes...and a few accidents...but he's very proud of himself and I'm very happy this is finally happening!
PS. Pat--Braden loves the Highlights magazines you ordered...prefect bathroom reading!

Walking

Carter's been walking for about three weeks now, and in those three weeks he's really gotten good!

Tiny Tumbler's Open Gym

After boys' haircuts and a date out to lunch w/ my boys, we went to the Green Mountain Gymnastics open gym for the first time...and hour and a half of constant fun!

My new flip camera is awesome, but Braden doesn't push down on the pencil very hard... so it might be difficult to see, but he definitely gets it!

Our first Snowman!

Funny, I lived in Colorado for four years and now Vermont for two, and this is my/our first snowman! I guess I was never interested before, but with a three year old, everything is fun!
