Swimming---every day!

We had a WONDERFUL week this past week in Marco Island, Florida with Scott's parents. From the next several posts, you can see how much fun in the sun we had! And of course, special Gramma and Pappa bonding too!

Beach Day

Marco Island is know as being one of the best beaches in the country, you can see why! Very hot and sunny so we had to shelter Stella, but didn't bother the boys! They loved the white sand, small waves, and warm water.

Boat Day

Our whole family loves boating, and it was so fun to help Pappa drive the boat for the boys! We stopped at a little island to gather seashells, and Stella slept almost the whole time! Love every minute of it!

Fishermen

Every day was fishing day too! The boys LOVED fishing off the dock at Gramma's and Pappas, and, everyone caught a fish by the end of the week! Carter was so excited by it that's all he talked about for days!

Jet Ski

Scott's Dad took us for a treat---he rented us jet skis one morning (since theirs wasn't working) and what fun that was!! I haven't been on one in years, and I'm prety sure Scott hasn't either, so an amazing time for all of us!

Game Time

Every night we had game night...Gramma found some great ones that the boys loved, and we even did a 500 piece puzzle. So nice to spend family time doing fun things instead of so much TV..Definitely making memories :)

Stella's First Swim

Our pool has now warmed up a bit, so time for Stella to try it out---and she loved it! Maybe a swimmer like me!

4 Months Old

Second round of shots for baby girl, but she was a champ and the doctor said she's doing great! 12.5 lbs which is right on target (sounds little but remember she was only 6lbs 13oz a few months ago in February!).

15 Years Ago today...

A little nostalgic, 15 years ago both Scott and I graduated from the US Air Force Academy after four long difficult years (really, many more, you have to qualify for the ivy league equivalent school by preforming well all through high school and earlier), so I have to say today is a proud day to remember. After graduation I served 8 years in the Air Force, deployed 3 times in support of the Iraq war, and commanded an Intelligence Flight. Scott, as you know, continues to serve and just pinned on Lieutenant Colonel and great things are ahead---no regrets!
