Baby Girl's Room

Thank you Gramma and Pappa Seigfried for helping us put together baby girl's crib! So exciting to see the room coming together! Carter came in to help with the screws--so cute, especially because I have a picture from about 4 years ago of Braden helping put together the crib for Carter--full circle!

Christmas Town with Cousins

Fun with the cousins is an understatement, we had a FABULOUS time at Busch Gardens with the Adams! Thank you Gramma and Pappa Seigfried for taking us to lunch with Santa, which was great and also let us get into the park a bit early so the boys could go--again and again--on their favorite rides! And when I say "boys," I also mean Scott, who went on Verbolten at least 4 times! Happy birthday to our favorite 9-year-old in the whole world, Jacob, who's actual birthday is on Dec 27th...so special to get to spend the day with him!

Merry Christmas from Virginia

Wonderful Christmas morning and afternoon of playing with all their new things, and Gramma and Pappa Seigfried arrived late afternoon! After a fantastic Christmas dinner (cooked mostly by Scott!) we all opened MORE presents brought on the plane from Gramma and Pappa---yes, we're spoiled!

Turtle Christmas party was a success! Another mom and I were in charge of it, and I had a lot of fun picking out decorations. We had a great lunch, crafts and Christmas present exchange--great way to start the Christmas break!

The Naughty List

Ask anyone in our house, the universal answer to "who's on the naughty list?" is our new cat, Finnigan! He is definitely the most mischievous cat I have ever owned--into everything, knocks stuff off counters, sneaks out whenever he can, and, case in point, climbs up the Christmas tree! But nonetheless, he really is a fabulous addition to our family, I am amazed how well he interacts with the boys and we all love him so much :)

Gingerbread Houses

Today must have been gingerbread day in Yorktown since both boys made gingerbread houses in their classrooms. I accompanied Braden this morning and had a lot of fun--this was the FIRST time I ever made a gingerbread house myself! Sometimes I think Christmas is even more fun for the parents than for the kids!

Carter came home with his own gingerbread house from his "kids in the kitchen" Friday, great job Carter!
