Turtle Playdate

Carter's homework for the weekend was to decorate a leave for a project at school, so a few Moms got together so Carter, Mason and Asher could work on it...loving our new Turtle friends!

Room Metamorphasis

So, it has begun! The boys have been sleeping in the same room anyway, so we put together the twin beds in the now "big boys' room" and started converting the other one to baby girl's room! Blue curtains down, pink flowers up! Over-the-top girly? Perhaps, but I love it--finally some pink in the house!! Now, to get the crib put together and we will be all set!

Virginia Living Museum

Carter played hooky from school today so we could meet our friends for a play date at the Virginia Living Museum, which of course highlights the nature in Virginia. We had a great time with my friend and her beautiful daughters, definitely going to go back and make use of our annual pass!

It's Beginning to Look a lot like Fall

Nothing like our piles of leaves in Vermont, but we definitely get a bit of the season here in Virginia! This is from our backyard...our new lawn still has a few patches left to fill in, but overall it's growing and looking really great!

Belmont Farms

I volunteered as a room Mom for both Carter and Braden's fall field trips---turns out it was to the same pumpkin patch at the same time on the same day! A little chaotic, but we were able to enjoy our time with both classes!

5 Months Down, 4 to Go!

Today's Oct 11th, so 4 months until baby girl's February 11th due date! I have looked at the numbers and have gained exactly 10 lbs, which is exactly what I gained with Braden and Carter by this point, but for some reason this time I'm extra HUGE! Maybe because it's a girl, or maybe because it's my third, but wow...these next four months better go by fast!!

On Sunday we visited our dear friends the Mizells and checked out their new house before driving back home to Yorktown. We found a great creek and park nearby, which was a wonderful way to burn some energy before a long drive! Braden was in heaven...he really misses Kelly Mizell!

Saw so many friends at the game from our time at the Academy and years in the Air Force...didn't have my camera out the whole time but got a couple of pictures: -Kristen (fellow female Cadet!) -Tommy from Squadron 22 ("deuce deuce!") -Of course Ryan Princippi, fellow Lacrosse player and 99 Grad---the boys LOVED Ryan!
