Fair Date

Great day for the fair! Finally, the hurricane is behind us and we have a beautiful week before Braden starts school! So I decided to take my big man on a date to the fair...so fun!

Kennedy Space Center

We spent our last day in Florida at the Kennedy Space Center...SUCH a great trip! It was very interesting and even educational to learn about the past and current NASA space programs and actually watch the international space station being built in 3D.

The Dream Vacation

We celebrated Bonnie and Mike's 40th anniversary and the August Bdays (mine, Braden's, Amy's, and Ben's) aboard the Disney Dream for a four day cruise (Aug12th-16th) to the Bahamas! SO SO very fun! Really, it's the perfect vacation with kids--kid-friendly food, activities and shows, adult-friendly (fantastic) food and entertainment!!

Disney's Castaway Cay

On Sunday we spent the day in the Disney owned Bahama island of Castaway Cay...gorgeous! We had fun swimming in the ocean, sliding down the water slides, great lunch, and lots of time in the splash zone!

Hollywood Studios

We spent the day of Thursday...my birthday (!) at Hollywood Studios! Bonnie and Mike watched the kids so Scott and I could go on all the fast rides, and of course we made a point to catch the great parade they have!

After Hollywood Studios we celebrated both Amy and my birthdays (both Aug 11th!) at Maggianos with the family:

Epcot

Carter and I went home to rest after the water park (these are long days for a 2-yr old) and everyone else went to Epcot for the afternoon/evening. It actually worked out great because Carter can't go on many of the rides there, so this let everyone else run around and go on most everything.

Disney's Blizzard Beach

We spent Wednesday at Disney's Blizzard Beach with the Adams and Gramma and Pappa...the perfect thing for another hot day! Braden could do most of the rides there, and everyone had a great time :)

Magic Kingdom

The first day we had with the Adams we went to the Magic Kingdom...as always, such a magical place! I didn't get many pictures because of the rain (didn't want to risk my camera) but at least we got this one when we first arrived! The rain didn't stop us--I think we went on every ride we could!

Sea World

We always go to Sea World when in Orlando...military gets in FREE! It's fun to see how the boys react differently to the shows, rides and exhibits as they grow up.
